Peshawar: It has been revealed that more than 53,000 suspicious computerized national identity cards have been issued during the action against illegally staying foreigners across the country
In the investigation conducted by the Federal Ministry of Interior, it has been revealed that 595 vehicles were registered in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on suspected identity cards of illegal aliens returning home from Pakistan, in which 7500 cases have been prepared against the holders of fake identity cards. have been done and legal action has been directed against them including blocking their mobile phone SIM cards and returning them after identifying their properties and businesses
Similarly, 349 benami properties and businesses in the name of foreigners have also been revealed and sent to the FBR for investigation
The Ministry of Interior has also decided to deport foreign illegal Tajik residents, while Afghan seminary students are also being considered
Apart from this, the Ministry of Interior has completed the investigation of 2343 suspicious bank accounts in the name of Afghans in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan
